What is the PTA?
The Banyan Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a volunteer group of parents, teachers, staff members, and friends who have the same mission: to partner together to support a thriving academic environment, provide enrichment programs and promote a strong community for all Banyan students.
The PTA works to provide Banyan students with many programs that enrich their educational experience, including physical education, art, music and more. It serves four primary roles:

Membership is extended to parents, teachers, extended family, friends and even students! The cost is $10 per member. The membership form may be completed either ONLINE or by submitting a completed Membership Form [ENGLISH | ESPAÑOL] with a check payable to “Banyan PTA” to the front office during normal business hours.
There is no obligation to attend meetings or volunteer, although we hope that you will. We need every community member's support!
As a member of California State PTA, you advocate for children, promote parent and family involvement in schools, and improve the lives of all children and families. Here are a few extra perks of membership available exclusively to PTA members:
